Supervision
Clinical supervision provides a safe space in which therapists’ can explore any ethical concerns, as well as their ongoing work with clients’. I offer supervision on a one to one basis remotely. Having good supervision in place is integral in our role as therapists’. Supervision provides the space to self-reflect, and as therapists’ we are always learning.
I tailor the supervision sessions to take in to consideration the needs of each supervisee.
Supervision sessions are always collaborative, and the supervisor/supervisee relationship is paramount. In a sense, supervision can be views as the “third eye”, and can enable therapists’ to see possible blind spots.

"I started working with Sheena for supervision as a trainee CBT Therapist. Her open mindedness and compassion supported my transition from a counselling background to embrace the new whilst retaining my core values as a therapist.
Sheena’s knowledge and experience has been invaluable to guide me through complex client presentations whilst encouraging me to follow my own judgement. She provides both practical tips/skills development whilst allowing me to find my own way.
I feel safe to be honest in our sessions as she balances questioning and validating my practice. Sheena’s warmth and enthusiasm shines which makes it a pleasure to work with her".
